Due to popular demand we will be relaunching our Crawley Town 1-on-1 coaching session on our 3G Ballcourt at The People’s Pension Stadium, from Monday 29th March.
Originally introduced in June 2020, as a reintroduction to training for keen young footballers, we wanted to give them the opportunity to get back into training again.
Each session will last for 50 minutes and will be individually designed for each players needs to work on their technical, physical or psychosocial skills. Our coaching team will also be challenging players to achieve their goals before our group sessions restart.
We are currently offering these sessions for all participants aged 5 to 16 years old.
Ian Cobbett, Player Pathway Co-ordinator said this, “I love the attention to detail we can offer in our 1 on 1 sessions, knowing who the player is and designing specific areas we can target. We like to push the players as much as we can, giving them skills and drills which they can practise all year round for their improvement. We ensure the area is safe for our players and parents, creating a creative and fun environment”
All equipment will be clean and disinfected after each session and we will provide access to hand sanitiser at each session.
Please be reminded, if an individual is symptomatic, living in a household with a possible COVID-19 infection or if you are classified as extremely vulnerable on health grounds, the guidance is that you should remain home.
As these sessions are purely 1-on-1, the 2-metre distance will be maintained between the coach and the participant at all times to protect both parties. Parents will need to remain on-site but a safe distance away from the training session.
Wayne Humphreys (parent) said, “Training Sessions for Crawley Town U10’s are always constructive, educational, well enjoyed and clearly progressive. My son, Dexter, has really flourished with the great coaching available to him. He has attended 1 on 1 coaching sessions which focus on his own personal ability and playing style, these have been exceptional in his development and he always leaves with confidence, Knowledge and a beaming smile.”
These sessions can be booked for afterschool hours, between 5pm and 7pm from w/c 29th March until 16th April 2021.
