The Return of Elite & Development Centres

The week commencing the 19th April, saw the return of many programmes across Crawley Town Community Foundation. With restrictions easing, we are able to gradually reintroduce sessions that have been on hold since November 2020.

The Schools and Football Development team relaunched the School Sports programme sessions, working in schools alongside our normal training sessions in and around The People’s Pension Stadium:

Monday - U8s Elite Centre, U10s Elite Centre and U16s Session

Tuesday - Physical Performance Centre and Goalkeeping Session

Wednesday - U8 Development Centre and U10 Development Centre

Thursday - U12 Development Centre and U14 Development

Friday - Talent ID Centre, U12 Elite Centre and U14 Elite Centre

Ian Cobbett, Player Pathway Co-ordinator said, “Within our sessions we aim to teach participants important life skills to provide them with every opportunity to find success in life, both on and off the football pitch.

We currently offer a variety of sessions to improve the individual within a team set up. Sessions range from Goalkeeping, Physical Performance, 1 on 1 through to U-16s. The morals and philosophy we hold offers the chance for our players to play with freedom and be closely associated to the Football Club.”

Crawley Town Community Foundation are pleased to announce the launch of a new session, specifically aimed at Goalkeepers at The People's Pension Stadium.

These sessions are open for girls and boys, aged 7 to 16 years, who have an interest in developing their skills as a Goalkeeper, focussing on learning correct techniques and developing their decision making, as the last line of defence. Participants will be split into different age groups within the session.

Sessions are delivered every Tuesday from 6pm to 7pm, on the 3G Ball Court behind the People’s Pension Stadium, opposite the Redz Bar.

All equipment will be clean and disinfected after each session and we will provide access to hand sanitiser at each session.

Please be reminded, if an individual is symptomatic, living in a household with a possible COVID-19 infection or if you are classified as extremely vulnerable on health grounds, the guidance is that you should remain home.

If you would like to book onto one of these sessions, please email – IanCobbett@crawleytownfc.com
