When Crawley Town Community Foundation was announced as the Ignition EFL Community Club for the South East 2020 at the beginning of March, nobody anticipated what the future months would entail. With Government restrictions begin to ease and confirmation of the continuation of support for the PE Sport Premium, it is time to look ahead to see what we can do to help the community moving forward.
Summer Soccer Schools are back on Monday 3rd August and run until Friday 28th August, with lots of exciting skill sessions and activities planned over the 4 weeks of school holidays.
Due to COVID-19 we will be capping the daily numbers to ensure the safety of our staff and participants.
Our Soccer Schools are hosted at the People’s Pension Stadium, on our 3G Ballcourt opposite the Redz Bar and sessions run from 9 am – 3pm, for young people aged 5 – 12 years old.
The 4-weeks will focus on fun, engaging sessions whilst at the same time teaching the fundamentals of football, with each day having exciting and varied activities.
Our energetic, qualified and professional coaches will plan each week so all young people experience different parts of the game and socialise with other budding players.
All drills will be age specific, making sure that we group participants based on age and ability in order to help them improve, individually and in a team.
All equipment will be clean and disinfected after each session and we will provide access to hand sanitiser at each session and during breaktime.
Please be aware, if an individual is symptomatic, living in a household with a possible COVID-19 infection or if you are classified as extremely vulnerable on health grounds, the guidance is that you should remain home.
You can book your child for £20 per day or at a discounted price of £90 for a full week. Places are filling up quickly, so book online today to ensure you don’t miss out - https://www.ctcommunityfoundation.com/football-development-1
