The Foundation is pleased to announce the launch of our 2019/20 Annual Review.
The review covers programmes and services delivered across Schools & Football Development, Community Development, National Citizen Service and Education. This year, the Annual Review places focus on the people, rather than the statistics to fully express the impact our programmes have on the local community.
In partnership with SHA Agency (https://sha-agency.com/), we navigated an online partnership through COVID-19, in order to produce a new and interactive review to illustrate the social value of the services we provide within the community.
Our vision is to ‘positively change lives through sport & football’, and we use the power of sport and football to engage, inspire and empower people.
Working with participants and the community, together with local, regional and national partners, we aim to positively change lives and support people in health & wellbeing, sports participation, equalities and inclusion, education, enterprise, employment and skills, regeneration and community safety.
With structural changes within the Foundation, we welcome the new season positively and look forward to developing our provision and supporting many more people within the community during the 2020/21 season.
As the Chairman, Thura KT Win, had said in his welcome for the Annual Review that,
“The reach and power of sport and football make a positive impact in the community. The individual and collective journeys people have made on our programmes and services have been truly inspirational to everyone at the Foundation and Crawley Town FC. It’s amazing to think about the big difference our collective hard work is making to our community and the lives of so many people.”
Darren Ford, Acting Head of the Foundation, said: “The Foundation has had another great year and continued to expand its delivery within the local community. Our projects have a positive impact not just in terms of football development, but have also supported members of the community in other key areas such as mental health, loneliness and health & wellbeing. The positive impact has been down to the commitment of all staff involved and is testament to their efforts.”
