We pride ourselves on the level of care and attention we give to our participants, which is even more important during the COVID-19 pandemic.
At the beginning of June, the lockdown guidelines were updated allowing outdoor football training or fitness activities in groups no larger than 6.
Since this update, our team has been working hard on how we can re-introduce football-training activities again safely to the community.
As of the week-commencing 29th June, we have decided to launch Crawley Town 1-on-1 coaching session on our 3G Ballcourt at The People’s Pension Stadium.
These sessions will be open to all players in the local area who are keen to regain their sharpness and touch ahead of the new season.
We are currently offering these sessions for all participants who are 5 to 16-year olds.
All equipment will be clean and disinfected after each session and we will provide access to hand sanitiser at each session.
Please be reminded, if an individual is symptomatic, living in a household with a possible COVID-19 infection or if you are classified as extremely vulnerable on health grounds, the guidance is that you should remain home.
As these sessions are purely 1-on-1 sessions, the 2-metre distance will be maintained between the coach and the participant at all times to protect both parties. Parents will need to remain on-site but a safe distance away from the training session.
Football and Sports Development Manager, Kayleigh Bowers, had this to say, “We have been inundated with emails and phone calls regarding when we will return to training.
It has been of paramount importance that we only return when we are advised and feel it is safe to do so.
We are now confident that we have the safety measures in place to ensure we can deliver quality and safe experiences to our participants. We are looking forward to seeing everyone again soon!”
These sessions can be booked for afterschool hours, between 5pm and 8pm between Monday to Friday from w/c 29th June.
If you would like to book onto one of these sessions, please email – KayleighBowers@crawleytownf.com
