Interested in playing for Crawley Town in 2021/22?

Crawley Town FC’s Development & Elite Centres are currently seeking Expressions of Interest for the 2021/22 season commencing in September.

The Youth Development Pathway (U7s to U16s) at Crawley Town FC is designed to focus on the holistic development of the players within our centres. Emphasising the importance of building resilience, confidence and leadership skills, our players are role models whether they are on or off the football pitch.

All players are expected to continue training with their grassroots team and are provided extra support if necessary. Our centres are delivered once a week and there are additional training opportunities (Goalkeeper Specific & Physical Performance) available to opt into. All of our players have the opportunity to be Ball Retrievers at Crawley Town FC home matches.

We encourage players within the programme to embody the following ideals:

· They are open minded and have a growth mindset

· They have a hunger and desire for learning

· They are motivated, and they want to work hard every day

· They actively participate in 3-way feedback: Player-Coach-Teammates

· They embrace and are determined at being proficient in the technical basics of the game

· We are Honest

· We are Positive

· We are Driven

· We produce Quality

· We are Respectful

There are opportunities to progress through our Player Pathway, which starts at Mini Reds – introducing under 6’s to the world of football.

From there players progress through the Saturday Soccer Centre/Talent ID Centre where the players who excel get invited to our Development Pathway.

The progression from the Development Centre is the Elite Centre which is from the U7’s to U16’s.

From the U16’s, there is the opportunity to trial and enrol for our U19s Education Academy for the BTEC National Diploma in Sport. This is a 1-3 year programme, allowing students the opportunity to gain qualifications while at the same continuing to represent Crawley Town FC in the National Youth League. From here there is the potential of players to be scouted to play for the Crawley Town FC, of which 3 current students have had the opportunity.

If you are interested in your child trialling for the 2021/22 Season or for more information please fill out an expression of interest form - https://www.ctcommunityfoundation.com/elite-development-centres
