Crawley Town FC’s Development & Elite Centres are set to return in September for the 2019-20 season, even bigger and better than before!
Our FA qualified coaches are always looking out for talented players aged u8-u16 to promote from our School Clubs, Mini Reds, Saturday Soccer Centre and Soccer School programmes, and refer them into our invitation-only Development Centre.
Our coaches work closely with the children to get the very best out of them, and to develop their knowledge and understanding of the game and to improve their ability on the ball.
Our goal is to engage with players who attend our Centres and give them the opportunity to improve as footballers with extra training, but not taking them away from their current youth teams.
We are hosting trials, as an opportunity to scout new players and bring back old players into our squads from around West Sussex.
These trials will take place on the 28th of August 2019 at Crawley Town FC’s new training ground, at Camping World Community Stadium, from 9am – 6:30pm.
Each time will be split up into age groups, the day will look like this:\
- 9:00 – 10:30 for U8’s
- 11:00-12:30 for U10’s
- 13:00-14:30 for U12’s
- 15:00-16:30 for U14’s
- 17:00-18:30 for U16’s
There is so much opportunity to progress through our Player Pathway, which starts at Mini Reds – introducing under 6’s to the world of football.
From there players progress through the Saturday Soccer Centre, where the players who excel get invited to our Development Pathway.
The progression from the Development Centre is the Elite Centre which goes up until the u16’s.
Even further in progression is the u19s and the BTEC National Diploma in Sport.
This is a 2-3-year course, allowing students the opportunity to gain qualifications whilst at the same time continue to represent Crawley Town FC at u19s level against EFL and Premier League teams.
For those who excel, the Crawley Town u23s or 1st team are within range.
